Bitcoin (BTC) will hit $65,000 due to a combination of its low supply and “tons of new buyers,” Mike Novogratz said in a tweet encouraging actress Maisie Williams to buy Bitcoin.
should i go long on bitcoin ?
— Maisie Williams (@Maisie_Williams) November 16, 2020
A Twitter poll prompted whether actress Maisie Williams should buy Bitcoin attracted many notable figures with Novogratz, telling her to buy BTC.
“Should I go long on Bitcoin?” Williams wrote on Twitter.
“I bought more BTC last night at 15,800. It’s going to 20K and (then) To 65K,” Novogratz responded in the thread.
“The network effect has taken over. I see tons of new buyers and there is very little supply. It’s an easier trade here (than) at 11K. So YES, buy it.”
Novogratz told Williams not to hesitate to buy BTC, stating it’s an easier buy here than at $11K. Bitcoin has surged above $17K, topping at around $17.5K at the time of this article.
So Bitcoin is becoming more and more valuable than when the poll started as time passes, so does Williams’ chance of getting a better position in BTC. At the time of this report, there are 302,304 total votes, with the majority (53.4%) saying that Williams shouldn’t buy Bitcoin. While 46.6% said, Williams should buy Bitcoin. If she follows through, she could miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime, only to FOMO in later; just remember the masses are always wrong when it comes to trading in markets.
For example, many were expecting a pullback so much, so one trader put $100 million on the line with a market short. However, Novogratz believes that Bitcoin is going to $22K next in a parabolic move that would see FOMO before it hits $20K.
Meanwhile, other institutional investors are getting involved left and right, and Citibank analysts predict that “21st-century digital gold BTC” will go as high as $300K by December of next year. JP Morgan has said small family offices are looking to hedge against inflation, seeing BTC more and more like an alternative to gold, Bitboy Crypto reported. If that’s not enough, the second largest bank in the world has started allowing the selling of $3 billion worth of bonds exchangeable in China with Bitcoin.
