Andrew Yang Finding Support

Tesla CEO Elon Musk shook up Twitter this weekend with three words, "I support Yang". This was a significant endorsement for Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang. Elon Musk is known for his out-of-the-box thinking and is known for projects like SpaceX.  Andrew Yang was quick to respond that Musk's support, "Means a great deal". Yang credited Musk for being a driving force towards building the future.

One of the key components of Andrew Yang's presidential platform is universal income. The idea is that every individual over the age of 18 years old would receive an additional $1000 outside of their job income. Yang has also consistently given his support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. His campaign accepts cryptocurrency donations.

Yang will participate in the September 12th Democratic Presidential Debate. He will join other candidates such as Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Beto O'Rourke and Amy Klobuchar.

Andrew Yang's campaign has been backed by political action committee (PAC) Humanity Forward Fund. Andrew Yang will be accepting Bitcoin via Lightning Network. While other presidential candidates in the past have accepted cryptocurrency donations, this marks the first time that a bitcoin centric super PAC will be focused on one candidate.
