Bybit Launches its Latest Competition: World Series of Trading

Bybit, the Singaporean crypto derivatives exchange, has launched a new event named “World Series of Trading” (WSOT) with up to 200 Bitcoins (BTC) in the prize pool, claiming to be the largest crypto trading competition.

Bybit offers flexible withdrawals, great security, mobile apps to trade on the go, and other features like its mutual insurance fund. To join the Bybit community and take advantage of all its features, as well as proving your trading skills in the battlegrounds, make sure to click here.

The Latest Addition to Bybits’s Games

Bybit has run similar competitions with a game format in the past, with events like “BTC” brawl back in 2019 which had a pool of up to 100 BTC depending on the number of participants.

The event had a total of 7608 participants and got to a prize pool of 50 BTC and proved to be a success as global traders brawled to win the first place.

This time, Bybit will try to build on the previous competition success by effectively doubling the prizes available to participants and including more locations for the WSTO competition.

WSOT Aims to be the Biggest Trading Competition

The Singapore exchange is planning on running WSTO twice a year as well as opening it for participants all over the world with a prize pool of 200 BTC (~ $186 thousand) and 300,000 USDT.

With popular names in the crypto world and poker pros joining the competition, the event is sure to attract a high number of participants of all skills.

Participants in the event will receive 20% off in trading during the duration of the competition, early-bird bonuses, and extra rewards, which means everyone will benefit from the event.

Ben Zhou, Bybit’s CEO, expressed its vision for the competition as:

“The World Series of Trading will be the main tournament of Bybit Games and the crypto trading world. We at Bybit believe in the importance of empowering traders who embody the prowess and passion for crypto trading. “

Competition to Build Community

Bybit has expressed its desire for the event to take place around the spirit of fair play and as so, the rankings will be decided based on profit vs loss percentages, leveling the playing field, and providing everyone with a chance to win.

“This revolutionary event aims to champion the spirit of competition and fair play, and cultivate camaraderie between crypto derivatives traders from all over the world to create positive changes in the crypto space”, said Mr. Zhou.

The pre-registration phase is currently running and will be available until the end of July, which means existing and new users still have time to join the battle.
