I’m Ben from BitBoy Crypto. I first got interested in Bitcoin in 2012. I stumbled into Bitcoin when I purchased a software that only accepted Bitcoin. I had been using the software for quite some time, but the domain got seized so the developer had to try a different payment method. I remember when he first switched to Bitcoin it was such a pain to try to figure out how to buy it and then how to actually execute a transaction.
After I bought a new version of the software, I forgot that I had the Bitcoin in my account. About a year later I went back and the little amount I had turned into $3000. I was super stoked so I used LocalBitcoins to cash out. I met a guy at McDonalds & did the transaction. Of course, now the Bitcoins I sold for $3000 would be worth easily 6 figures. And that mistake has been the driving force for me to stay interested in crypto.
After watching the price and keeping up to date with the latest Bitcoin news for years, I decided it was time to get into altcoins. In the summer of 2017, I started getting very interested in different altcoins and really started studying every coin I could. Eventually as the bull run was heating up, I started investing and saw my profits soar in December. However, I did not take cash out this time I learned another hard lesson. There is a quote that says, “Smart money is just dumb money that has been through a crash.” I can say that I have learned many lessons in crypto. I’ve cashed out too early, missed an opportunity to cash out, & I’ve even been hacked. I want to share all that I have learned with you so you don’t make the same mistakes I have.
